Drinking green tea could give your brain a boost, according to a new study from the University of Basel. Participants drank either a soft drink or a drink with green tea extracts and then took an active memory test. Not only did those who drank green tea have better results, but their brain scans showed increased connections between brain regions.

According to the researchers, this discovery suggests that drinking green tea could improve brain plasticity and active memory – at least in the short term.
